    up at 4 on water at 645am. fished channel at roses. fish stacked up thick 12-18 foot in 30fow. fished 4 double minnow rigs and 4 double jig rigs. water 55 at daylight 59 when i left at 1. not one crappie had two that i got up close enough to see they were slabs and that they had the jig by the tail. thats my first time being skunked at the rez. i did catch eight slimmers but for me those dont count.

    yea. the wind was basically a non-factor but the boat traffic was terrible. like fishing in a washing machine. i think that effects em some too on that south end.

    Murdok, there were a few big pleasure boat some through is on half plane. All you can do is hold on what they come by

    I saw the first water flea (jet ski) today. Just the sound of em gives me heartburn. I had the same idea to go to the south end of the lake too, changed my mind at the last minute.
