Well they finally started letting the water back up in Archusa this past week. I went and it has came up about half way due to Archusa Creek filling it up, maybe the rain today will help top it off soon. I caught 24 crappie and 1 bass Not really on the big side was the crappie but they sure were tasty last night for supper. Gave my neighbor a good mess for there supper also. Yes I eat that old bass that way he can't eat up the young crappie fry this year. Crappie were 7 feet deep in 13 foot water around brush tops. Weather temps were in the 80's today and water surface temps were already in the 60's so they are or will be spawning pretty soon. I am really glad to see that they are letting the water back up. Good luck everyone and I will be looking forward to your reports and pictures.
