    Default Okatibbee 1-30

I got my limit at Okatibbee this morning using jigs and nibbles. This was the first decent day in over a week to fish with all the rain and wind. Name: 20170130_135528.jpg

Nice catch Scott. What depth of water were they in? I got a limit two weeks ago before that big rain in 8-9 ft and saw another guy wearing them out in 5ft. Every one of them were slap full of eggs. I thought they might go to spawning early but then the rain hit and I haven got a chance to go back

These were in 6 to 8 ft of water. The eggs are getting bigger but they've got a ways to go yet.

Very nice, I used to camp there and catch crappie for a week at a time. That's before the crappie craze hit. Glad t see the lake is doing good. Congrats
