Rees Guide pulls with corks all the time. Suprized he has responded here.
I'm just wondering though what's the advantage of the cork. Seems like you could pull just a jig unless you are going really really slow. The planer boards look awesome though

I do it to control depth, do the same in the spring with cranks.
How fast are you moving when you pull the jigs Rees. And let's say the lake is 4 ft and the fish are in 3 ft how far up would my cork need to be from my jig if I'm going 1 mph. Sorry for all the questions just trying to figure all this out
