Today I was pulling crankbaits at the lake. I had 8 poles out
2 BnM 8 ft
2 BnM 10 ft
2 BnM 12 ft
2 BnM 14 ft

A 5 lb catfish hit one of the 8 footers and I didn't have my spyder loc locked down. Pole fell from 45 degree angle to flat and out the back of the boat she went. I'm sitting there numb and pizzed off for not tightening the nut on my spyder lock. All the sudden the other 8 footer goes off. I grab it and it feels like I have the hood of a 62 Cadillac but definitely a fish. As I start winding I see what looks like a fishing pole. OMG it is a fishing pole and looks just like the one that went in the lake. I ease the pole in and get the crank bait out of the eye and still land the fish. I am glad I have a witness cause it was the dangest thing I ever seen. What are the odds
