Well I thought there was no better rod than the Original Tony Edgar Signature Series but boy was I wrong. I just purchased 2-16 foot Pro Series Troller from the good folks at Lake Cove and man was I impressed. The rod is the same as the Signature but they have added more wrap to the butt section and improved the backbone. It really puts the energy in the hook set right out on the tip. I was sticking everyone of the hits this weekend. It makes it really fast but also forgiving. I can't say enough good things about it. They also went with stainless and add a few more too. The reel seat is moved forward a few inches so it set in my millenium holders much better. There is an added bell on the butt as well which is real nice. Lake Cove told me about them back at the start of the year I wish I would have tried it sooner. They aint cheap but really worth it. They are advertised for baitcasters but I am not sure why. They worked great with my spinner set up. Give them a try. Awesome. Great for super shallow presntations in the spring and deep power trolling as well.
