Most definately look at SKEETER
I have had a Skeeter for a long time. 0 complaints. Would like a newer one that is wider in the beam. Ranger or Skeeter would be my choice.
Triton, Stratos, Bullet, Legend, Bass Cat, Nitro, lots of nice boats out there.

Factory 3 across in a Ranger 521. He already had the Dub-L-Seat.
3 across the front in any glass boat that's 18 ft will be tight.
Why is tight is it because narrower
When talking glass boats 90% are going to be bass style boats. By design they are going to have quite a bit of taper to the bow. So when you put 3 across seating close enough to fish off the front it is going to squeeze down the area your sitting in. Even some of your Bay style boats have a pretty narrow front end. Plus on most you have very little gunnel area to keep things in the boat and when turning around you end up with your feet dangling out over the water. I understand why a lot of tournament guys fish out of large glass boats but for practicality and this is just my opinion for what it is worth, with your family in mind there are 2 aluminum not boats I would consider. That is the Wareagle Blackhawk center console and that SeaArc ProCat 200. I think that ProCat with 2 aditonal seat bases in the rear and 3 on the front would be a outstanding boat for every type of crappie fishing. Friend has the Blackhawk with 140 suzukie and it's more than enough motor and lots of room for several people to fish.
