Catfish and crappie feed on the same things so if you catching catfish you are in the right area, at least thats the way it seems to work for me.

Went to the rez this morning and cranked for about four hours. Wound up with eight average size crappie and 12 catfish. I just can't seem to stay away from the catfish. I was using line counters and used anywhere from 40 feet to 70 feet from where the line enter the water to try to stay in 10 to 13 foot range and seem to catch catfish at all levels.
It's a learning thing but I don't care as long as they pull.

We may have to hit Nader this week, Jimmy....to get you out of them "whiskers". Rees can tell us where is the best area to pull. Supposed to cool down middle of the week with a cold front and north winds. I'll be in touch. You listening, Rees?
