Surely it was taking at winter pool, will go out and look if it quits raining, just got one. Prolly have to turn the contours off in order to see just the satlite overlay.

I was thinking of getting the new map card, however, before I pull the trigger I wanted find out what the aerial imagery looks like for the big 4. I assume they provide only one overlay unlike on google earth you can choose several overlays from multiple dates. The Hummingbird website says the big 4 overlays are from 2012.
The big question is what time of year in 2012 was it taken. Was it during the winter early spring when the lake was drawn down or was it at summer pool?
I am not going to bother with it unless it was taken during winter pool so I can see the ditches and stumps, etc.
Anyone have a review of the overlays? Thanks

MB, in the regular Lakemaster card the v4 is the newest and best of all of them for our lakes here. Got to take pics of the difference and sent to Brian at BBC of the difference between my V3 and the plus v2, plus v2 was a let down.

Humminbird sent me a Plus V2 to try in my Helix 7 since the Okatibbee chart wouldn't load right on the Lakemaster V3. The Plus V2 works perfectly in my unit. It also has Barnett in HD on it.
