Bout to head out. Hopefully they'll be where I left them on Monday. Not sure what this rain did to them
Let us know how they biting when you get a chance. I am strictly a weekend warrior til Summer time gets here and school is out so I will have to go upriver Saturday to get out of the 20 mph winds. Hope you tear them up!
Put in at Madison at daylight and ran along ways north. Once I got there and got the lines out the wind started picking up... And it got worse. Did pick up 3 good fish along with getting hung up and breaking off 4 times. My little ole boat was like a kite so it was time to go. That north wind had the water nearly white capping into my side of the boat the whole way back. Was planning on trying around the yacht club, hoping to get out of the wind but by the time I got there I was soaking wet so I brought it to the house. I am just now drying out. Loading up the turkey gear and headed to chase longbeards this weekend. Weather looks great the next few days. Yall wear em out, they are going to be hungry! Good luck and be safe
hate that but least you went. Yeh, Roses bluff n the yacht club are bout it unless you go upriver with a north wind
