Good single pole rod!

I mostly troll but when I single pole, I prefer the

Whitey Outlaw Series Santee Elite.

Buck, you have any trouble knocking the ceramic tip out of the guide?

I prefer the 11' Sam Heaton rear seat.

No I haven't had that problem yet, the only issue I've had is breaking the rod about 6" above where the 2 sections join together. I've had that happen twice but it was several years apart.

Thanks, that is the only thing that has kept me from getting one.

I use a 14 foot Southern Crappie trolling rod and its awesome!!!!!!

11 ft. Ozark rear seat is what i have been using. Very light good balance with reel mounted to the rear,pretty sensitive, yellow tip, haven't lost that last guide yet trying to get unhung. As far as light bites, these Big 4 crappie usually hit it like a bass in shallow water.If I'm fishing deep I'm usually spidering. My :twocents
