Lake Washington tips
Hey all, New to this forum and not sure if this is the right place to post this. If not, let me know.
My dad and I are planning a fishing trip to Lake Washington, MS in a few weeks and I've got a couple questions.
1) where is the nearest hotel?
2) what kind of lake features should we look for to find some slabs?
3) any recommended spots?
Thanks a lot.

Nearest hotels, Greenville. Roy's Store at Chatham has some decent clean cabins on the lake, $40-$60 range, right on the water, boat ramp, docks, cleaning station. Big lake pretty flat, shallow on both ends, deep in the middle. Jigging in the big cypress trees or rigging outside in the shallows should be the play by then. The fish are starting to move up now.

Was there this weekend it was easy to see where everyone was fishing because there was 50 boats huddled together kinda reminds me of the spillway. If I were you I would grab a jig pole and head for the trees.Do not follow the crowds!Good luck
