COE has nothing to do with length limits
Spot on, what I was referring to was that calling them would get you no answers, heck a lot of the time flagging down a warden won't get you an answer. I asked one about something at Sardis, we were at Grenada and his response was, I don't work up there, I don't know.
Yep, get the same thing at Butla. Got an officer for Desoto and Tate counties. Don't ask one a question for the other side of the lake or spillway.
Just off the phone with Bryan, he has an officer that works with him. I asked about that section of Turkey creek. Yep, it's within the COE boundary of the lake and the 12" rule applies.
I should have clarified, my questions we're not about fishing. I was inquiring to this guy about 4 wheeler access into the hunting areas. This year while deer hunting on Pattons Point I had several guys run up on me on atv's. The signs clearly state no atv's allowed period. After launching my boat 30 minutes before daylight and docking on the point and walking in a mile or so it only to have atv riders ruin my hunt it was disappointing to say the least. All he could say was rules we're being changed and signs we're not updated yet.. he says they we're going to start allowing recreational riders into a lot of the areas from what he understood. I was just commenting on canes dealing with a newbie MDWFP officer, sorry for the misunderstanding.
I got ya, as far as I know you can ride an ATV anywhere on COE property at Grenada with exception to the land just below the dam.
