    Default Lake Caroline, Madison, MS

Anyone know why the crappie are virtually non-existent in this lake? Seems like it would be a good lake. Bream, Bass, and Catfish seem to do just fine.

I read an article about the lake saying that the crappie only spawn every 6-7 years.

They want it to be a trophy bass lake. Believe me it had slabs in it for years. I wish it still did closest lake to my house

Man, that's a shame to hear. I used to fish that lake all the time 10-15 years ago and it had some major slabs hanging out in it. Caught some monsters throwing rattle traps for bass.
