Went again today guys..same as last time I only caught small fish. I seem to always be one or two days behind the fish. I heard they were biting good Friday. Well, it will probably be a month or so before I go back and hopefully the third time will be the charm. I was on the rip rap in the old river run and it looks like a great spot for spawning crappie, rocks, submerged timber, and some reeds
Only saw Asian Carp and shad caught Saturday.

Most folks I saw were snagging so I guess I should have known they weren't biting...how exactly is it done? I saw folks smacking their hooks in the water but it honestly looks like they are just jigging on the rocks
I forgot to ask about tillatoba lake. One of my fishing buddies told me it wasn't that far from grenada lake. I looked the depth map up and saw it was only 45 acres..are there any crappie in the lake if not is it a good bluegill hole?
Crappie were small but good bluegill, it was recently reworked , been open 2 years now.
