I am tired of all these great recipes for the masterbilt smoker. Got to have me one ! Now the question is which one? Am leaning toward the 40 inch with temp. Probe..what do I need to get?

Start watching the Christmas sales for Academy, Bass Pro, Cabelas and Tractor supply. Several had the 40 with temp probe and glass door for 199.00 at Thanksgiving. My 30 in has done everything I needed it to do but does not have the prob. I just use a remote thermometer I got from Lowes.

The one they had for 199 was the old models and they are gone now. Bass Pro did have the new model for 199 in their Black Friday stuff, in store only, 5 hours only and first come first serve.

Yep....I got the black 30 inch no glass door or probe....I got a digital remote thermometer at wallyworld less than twenty bucks.....it works great for me, I had a turkey breast, two racks of baby back ribs and 2 lbs of sausage in it at the same time thanksgiving only used three racks and still had room for my other rack

Academy has a 40 inch on sale also.....saw them yesterday....don't remember price but I remember it was a good deal. It was the stainless steel one with window in door and temp probe.

Get online and check the smoker at different websites before driving everywhere.
My 30" model came with the probe, I've never used it.
