Lots of good guides around. Grenada will be the best shot at a 3lber, but it'll be tough. Lots of 2-21/2's tho.

I've had to fish for crappie on Sardis, Granada or Washington, hopefully to catch my first 3# crappie as one of my bucket list items. I know a 3 lb'er in the fall is a tall cup but its looking like that's going to be my first shot at it, I'm planning to come down in November probably for the Thanksgiving weekend, which of the three lakes is going to be my best option and I would like to get a guide for the first day, any recommendations?
Have a great day,
Ray

I have caught 3- 3+# crappie in my life, my first was years ago on Enid, The other 2 were caught in Grenada, in the last 10 years. I fish Grenada 2/3 times a year. All caught during the spawn. Arkabutler, would be my fall, winter lake for 3# crappie, It is a secret gem, with huge Crappie.

Thanks for the feed back so far, Big River, did you ever sell the boat the guy backed out on? If not how would that boat rig up for two seats on the front to spider rig? I have a 91 ranger that fishes great but is a load to pull, am seriously thinking about a Aluminum boat. PM me when you get a chance.

I still have it. It has dual live wells and three across seating up front. It's a Hyper Lift pad ride hull like a high performance glass boat. It's a multi species boat, but the PFC stands for Panfish-Crappie, hence the H18 PFC.
You can call me at 870-635-0202. I answer till 8am-10pm 7 days a week.
