Default Concrete tough on Glass boats,,,

Why does everyone build their ramps and surroundings out of concrete anyway? sure does ter up a mans boat,,,, already ruined my Keel guard and now into the glass everytime I launch,,, anything out there that can save your bottom? I saw a few using Hamskys, but wondering if there's anything better and easier to install? I'd like to see the ramps be made of that recycled tire rubberized material they use for highways and school tracks,,,Be great stuff and last forever without tearing up the boats,,

Not sure whats on mine, it was on there when I got the boat, but I have seen no wear to the keel guard. I pull up on the ramp all the time. Hamby is supposed to be the best and fairly easy to install.

Definitely a Hamby's. The one on mine has been there since 1991 and still going strong.

That rubber would get slick as owl poop when its wet or algae starts growing on it. But that would be neat tho until truck starts sliding towards the water. Get ya an ulterra!

That's what I'm talking about,,,, Be killing two birds with one stone buying one of them,,,, I'd be getting an upgraded trolling motor and no more worries about getting tossed about on concrete from the wind while I'm trying to park the truck,,,I'd be living large,,,still need to replace it though , just in case.... I saw a company that uses Kevlar one one keel protector,,, wondering if it's any better then maybe regukR rubber guard,,,

You want a Hamby's. And it looks like Boatbottom has already done all the leg work.... http://www.crappie.com/crappie/off-t...uty-protector/
