it truly begs the question.....How many is enough? Man!! Last time I was down we caught maybe 20-25 each, I kept 10. That's what I wanted for a good mess. The rest went back in for another day....but that's just me. I don't take my ego with me in the boat. Probably said too much already. Yawl have a nice day.

Like you, I don't want to get involved in that discussion. But, these are probably some of the same people talking about our lakes being depleted. And, no, I am not talking about c.comers..........these guys are probably not even members.

Have to say this, though. Until people get out of the mentality of going to a lake with the intention of catching as many as they can in a day, including catching every crappie in the lake if it were possible, things will never change. If you look at all natural resources in the world.......from forests to oil, and every other resource available..........humans are the sole cause of destruction and depletion.....no one else is responsible. If people were truly worried about crappie populations, this is a ridiculous amount of fish during a spawn. Wonder how many people were fishing..........sure looks like more than one limit on a stringer. I have been a member here for a long time, and never made a post like this..........but sorry, had to vent a little....lol.

I got that same picture from a friend Monday who said they came from arkabutla. Not only are there a crap ton of fish on those stringers they all aren't over 12 inches I can promise you that.
Everyday spent outdoors with good company is worth the time and effort it takes to make it happen. Take a friend fishing!

4 rods! Tenn. Regs. Possession Limits: The total possession limit is twice the daily creel limit. You may not have more than the daily creel limit with you while afield. It is unlawful to have, while afield, any fish which has been altered so that its species and/or total body length cannot be determined.
Crappie (all species combined) 15 10 inches
Region 1 Crappie Exception: unless otherwise noted for specific waters. 30 none
If this is Tenn. it is a killin.Gotta say there was some nice fish where ever this was.I haven't caught that many in 5 years, but I fish the dead sea a lot!
