1st crappie of the year

Finally--worst part I broke my own rule and brought a dern cat into the boat.
It was a 6lber though.

Got home and had dried catfish slime on the back deck. Made me made!!
The crappie was 14 inches and didn't have much of a belly.

We caught more slimers than we did crappie this weekend. They feelay up nice, too

David;Thats what I do too. I take all them trash fish like bass and catfish home and eat them. That way I know I won't be worried with them getting on my crappie hooks again.
