I was gonna go but couldn't see the street in front page f my house this morning. Fog was to thick. I ended up at Lowes buying mortar and chilling old mortar and relaying flagstone all day. Hope yA wear em out. Heard of a few decent catches yesterday. 20-25 decent fish

I had some boat trouble yesterday (bad gas) and didn't get on the water until about 3. The bite was slow in the welfare hole based on what I saw.

I fished from 3 to 6 with 6/7 other boats on the edge of the channel. I only saw about 10 decent fish with that many throwbacks. Most of those were caught by one boat.

The excitement of the day was the dude who lost the left rear wheel off his truck as he crossed the bridge next to the welfare hole.

I was in the welfare hole & saw it happen. Passed by the truck on the bridge on the way home . Don't know how his wheel came off of a new truck but it did.

BWAAAA haha Bet that was a trip. Did you get that gas over on 471 at the treading post? I've gotten gas there twice and both times it had ALOT of water in it.

Nah. It was just old gas from the end of duck season. It may have picked up some water in the monsoons. I can't blame a station but I'll be mindful of your experience, DD.

Mle, did he lose the wheel into the river? My son said he saw a splash under the bridge when he turned to look at the bang.

I've seen some crazy tings in the welfare hole over the years. Had a 8 point buck swim right across the middle of it 4-5 years ago. I mad a couple circles round him and let him head to shore

DD yes it went over bridge railing into the water. Suv in the other lane barely missed the rolling tire. I felt bad for the guy . I've had days like that

Yeh, same here. Ran out of gas in the middle of the S curve one day and a few more things I won;t mention., LOL
