Actually Bill....the fishing was about like like it is now...it went in cycles just like now....good years and bad years. As far as pressure goes...there was some always lots of Memphis folks and others from TN, MO, and AR. Anyway it was good then and its good now....somewhat different as far as the silting in etc. and loss of cover etc. As far as the invention of gun powder Chris ....we were still rubbing sticks together to start a fire.
