    Default Sardis Lake

    Hello All,
I haven't heard many reports from Sardis. How is everyone doing? I see lots of rain in the forecast, blah. I'm headed down the 19-22 with some friends. We've never been there and we are all pretty excited. If anyone has any pointers to share it would be greatly appreciated. We are far from experts. If you don't want to that's okay, I understand. I'm not trying to get into anyone's honey hole. We aren't set up for spider rigging so we will be mostly single pole fishing. If any of you guys are gonna be around the lake those days stop and say hi. Our group will be hanging out nightly at the lower lake where we are staying while we are there. I'll post reports just in case anyone is in the same boat as I am and looking for some guidance. Hopefully it will be good news to report.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing.
    Good Luck and Tight Lines.

Hey 603, good luck to you. It all depends on the fronts, temp and rain coming thru. Don't fish Sardis, mainly Enid and some at Granada and Washington, so I can't tell you where to single pole. Most guys this time of year are spider riggin pretty heavy. Id say look at come maps and find where some ditches run into the lake and look for some structure around the mouths of those. Don't take much, a single stump may do. Stay safe and enjoy the lake.

Very high water. Hard to say. Got 2 more inches of rain coming. Going to have to find them.

Thanks for the input. I've been watching the weather. I'm hoping the weatherman is wrong about the flooding. I'm hoping we can at least find a couple after 4 days of fishing. We are willing to try any other lake within close proximity to Sardis if it isn't letting us catch a couple. Any suggestions out there? If Sardis isn't producing. Is there a good website about the rules/regulations for the Mississippi lakes?
