Month of April is usually good, March can be but most of the time it is messed up, 15 degrees here this morning. Hambones is a good place to stay and close to a lot of good fishing water, (662) 458-3197

Been wanting to fish Grenada for some time now and don't know anything about it. Looking for info on the best time of the year to fish there. The wife and I go to Florida every year for 3 months and fish mostly at Crescent lake. We catch a lot of big crappie and release all of them. I've heard a lot about Grenada and the big fish that are caught there. I've put Grenada on my bucket list and am looking for some help on the best times and techniques to use. Also where to stay for a week of fishing. Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hey Anchor Man, pretty tough to compete with the beauties on Crescent. Been there and loved it!!. Grenada can be tough in the wind! Sardis and Enid are very solid and yield nice fish. We are heading to Miss at the end of the month and I will let you know how we do. We had great trip a few years ago to Enid. The weather was very cooperative. Check the water levels as they are crucial for launching and navigation. Good luck.

Thanks Guys for the info. I'm thinking about coming that way in November, December prior to going to Crescent lake in Florida.
