No hes not the only one catching them. Went friday and wound up with 14 in about 4 hours. 3 guys in a boat near me must have caught 50. The ones i caught were about 8 feet deep in 10-12 feet of water. Jigs with nibbles.
Yeah the guys I saw using minnows were catching more than me. I only had jigs with me today.
Congrats on a nice catch.I only managed 4 fish and they were short. 2 on cranks 2 spidering with critters and minnows. Fished cypress along creek channel, dint do any good!Ski boats and fleas all over Hurricane and Mussconi all the way to old road bed at Oak Grove. Brella saved the day!Parking lot was almost empty at Hernando by 4 o'clock sept for sail boats.Water temp was 95 out in lake and 87 in cypress! Lots of folks fishin.Marked a lot of fish in 10 to 15 ft. range just couldn't get them to bite! Glad yall caught some!
