Default Okuma Magda Pro 15 question

This might be a dumb question but is it a way to stop the clicking sound it makes while reeling?

Yes...just slide the small chrome button on the left side of the reel.....that turns the bait click off

They will still have a slight clicking sound when reeling. If the clicker is on, it will sound like a coffee grinder.

What is the function of the bait click? Even when off the clicking is plainly audible and I am deaf. Well my wife claims I am.

I just got 4 new ones and they click all the time now. When the button on the side is in the up position, it's a small click. When letting out line it doesn't click. When it's down, it's a loud click.

That is just as mine is doing. Hence the question what is the buttons function.
