The question is....what the heck did you do to him last time bad enough to make him not want to fish with you for 9 whole months?

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Yes thanks goes out to Joel, he talked me into it finally, I sold my other house on Friday, so that was a big relief on me . This was the first time I had actually did the single pole thing like this, had tried it before but never in the depth water we were in. we used a 1/100 jig with split shot up the line and crappie nibbles. 99.8% of the time you didnt feel the fish, you would go to jig up and it would have sucked it in and it was there. I had trouble because I wanted to stop once I pulled up and felt resistance and would kinda stutter and let off and I would loose the fish got a little better at it but still got a lot of work to do We had a blast and stayed with in 30 yards of where we cut the motor off at day light, but once tried to crank, cranking battery was dead it was fully charged and cranked right up when we put in the water but that was the last time. I have had it on the boat about 3 yrs I believe and I dont know how long Hugh had it on the boat, so I guess it was time. Went got me a AGM battery to replace it and should be ready to go next time I get to go. I know the trolling batteries or gonna die out before long I would think but for now they are holding good. Sure is nice to kinda get back to some what of a normal life but not 100%. I have had request to paint cranks but I dont even have my setup ready to go, may have to refer them to Scott, seems like I cant get everything done as fast as I want. In the middle of wiring up my shops right now and that is a must LOL, thanks again Joel for a great day and being a great friend. Yall keep Joel in my and prayers, he had to go to Kansas City to do a show for his work and his new to him Grizzly boat is sitting there waiting on him to get back and get it setup for cranking.
