I have the driftmasters but fished with a friend who has creekslicks. I want me some 'slicks rod holders. Mine are like junior models compared to my friends. HOWEVER! I have an xpress h51 with a console. rod holders have to go on the passenger side and the tall holders make it tough for an old fat man to enter and egress the boat. The low profile of the driftmasters might alleviate this somewhat.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

I tried some driftmasters and had horrible experience. Asked the guy if they would lock 8 baitcaster rods and he said yep. Sent me a rack and wouldn't ya know it , wouldn't lock 8 baitcasters. Called him and said he could custom build me one for another $280. Said no thanks just have a refund. Wouldn't use that company again as if the don't know what there products would service then I am not gonna be a gunea pig for em at my expense.

I have creeks racks and love it. Just wish I could lock them down some way.

That creekslick looks like a good solid unit to me. Does it keep the rods locked in good when traveling?
