Thread: ROd Locker Ideas

Looking for ideas on how to theft proof rigged up 16 footers on the boat overnite. I have seen the Drfitmaster rod locker system but it is 200 bucks, Looking for either a DIY or some kind of cheaper brand or method. Currently they are just strapped to the deck using velcro rod savers. thanks

I doubt there is a system that's theft proof. Your best bet is to remove your rods and depth finders and bring them inside. I've tried to figure out a way to secure my poles to my transport rack with a steel cable and padlock to maybe change a thief's mind while I'm buying minnows or inside a store.
