Did good south of Tunica, not the cut-off.
Where? What's the river doing?
IMHO tunica starts a little later. Seems to have colder river water influxes that hold them back a bit. Your results may vary.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
The Asian carp are going to destroy all the oxbows in the near future, as far as bass, bream, and crappie fishing goes. Even if they find a commercial use for them, they are here to stay. The only thing that might benefit from them is alligator gar.
Tell'em I'll be there.
You got that right. Maybe that big die off we had at Tunica will repeat. Wonder if they ever found out what caused it? Be nice if we could propagate it! Wonder if having big payout bow fishing tournaments would help?
I have studied everything I can find on the I-net on them; talked to Fish biologists, State, Federal & University, both North & South, & no one has any answers.
Looking at the Miss River prediction for the next 3 weeks, I'm amazed that it is not going to RISE??? I was expected a major spring flood due to all the ice and snow up North. Anybody know what's going on?
You're way to early for the ice melt up north to raise the river here. Late April, May, June and July are when we get the river flooding.
This front that is moving through today is suppose to dump more ice and snow up north.
True, but I have seen a lot of hi water in April too. SOmething must be up tho, all the resivoirs that I keep up with, they have really let the water out! Way below normal "winter pool". They must know something we don't!
