Lowrance elite 5 dsi question

I found a deal on a lowrance elite 5 dsi finder and was wondering if $300 was a good price on this unit? I need something to locate trees and marks fishing locations mainly, with a GPS.

It will definitely show trees and other underwater structure. I have one on the front of my boat.

Were did you find it that cheap ? I have been looking for one for a while. The new model has rolled out so I was hoping the DSI/GPS model would drop down to 300 bucks or so.

I bought one thinking I was getting a deal from cabelas but didn't look hard enough and it didn't have the sd card slot and no maps. Still like it pretty good though.

I thought I got the same good deal because the box it came in said "chartplotter & GPS" but come to find out the unit I have is just sonar!

If it is an elite 5 dsi then I think that's a good price. I love mine.
