    Default Southern Mississippi??

we will be visiting the father in law this spring down in Bay St. Louis. Are there any crappie lakes down there at all that grow big fish?? thinking about making a stop on the way back and bank fishing Grenada if there is anywhere to fish off the bank. I wanna catch some huge Mississippi crappie and hoping it might be a possibility this spring.. going down end of May..

End of May is tough, even from a boat.

You can fish off the bank anywhere you can get to it. Not sure about the swimming areas. I don't fish Grenada. You might want to check with rwcrappoe. I know he was doing some research on it.

End of May is a bad time. I'm usually bream fishing some then. If I were gonna be at Bay St. Louis, I would take a charter for speckled trout. I even caught some from a kayak last year about that time. BTW, make sure you go to the Blind Tiger Bar and Grill, it's mighty good.

Take 3 rods to the dam use slip cork bobbers and use minnows set your depths 5 foot off bottom to 5 foot under surface and one in between. Set back and wait adjust accordingly. Your going to catch something for sure
