    Default Crappie Spreader Rig

Has anyone tried trolling with a spreader rig? Pros vs. Cons?

I think he is talking about the Alabama rig...which are illegal here if it has more than two hooks on it.

I have, pulled jig's and cranks. Not worth the aggravation to me. Found it to pull good for a while and then it would start to spin. Surprisingly the cranks worked better on it than I thought they might.

They banned the Alabama rig on the BASS circuit. I've never tried one on the crappie.
