Had to work and was looking at maybe Monday but it looks like the wind won't be cooperating. Showing gust up to 23 MPH on AccuWeather. At least it'll be warmer!

I did and fished for 5 hours with not a single bite. I know of 5 other boats there today and of only 5 fish being caught. Its going to get better but it aint time yet.

I figured all that water didn't help matters though it'll make it better later on if they leave it in. If you look at the rule curve you'll see the same thing happened last year but about 2nd week of January but they got it back down to rule by March. Not sure if that'll happen this year. I hope not. 252 would be nice going into March!

Yep, it was tuff for a month or so last year and it seems like the same this year just a month later. Marked tons of fish but no luck. Water is a cold 37 right now but it wont be long before she gets going again.
