charging the batteries this way if one is bad they will not fully charge when they are wire parallel and you hook a charger to + on battery A and - on battery B the charger looks at them as 1 big 12 volt battery ,not 2 so if 1 of them is bad you will never get a full charge !!! when I was using a 12 volt system I use to charge my batteries this way for years !!!and worked great !!!

This is how I do it, and I have never had a problem. I am sure it is slower (10 amps to charge 2 batteries instead of 10amps x2 for two batteries) but has always been ready to go by the next morning.
