You'll catch fish as big as they get at Nader on cranks!!! They AVERAGE about like most good lakes tho. You'll just have bigger kickers.

Yes, you can reel in 3+ pounders. They just don't come up and skip as fast as smaller fish. :-)

Caught a good many in the 2 pounder range on Nader with cranks but nothing in the last 3 summers over 2.25. Not saying you can't I just haven't, other than spring a true 3 pounder is rare on Nader, think the Nader and Butla sure snuff hawgs hibernate in the summer months.

One thing to keep in mind about Nader is that it is mainly a white crappie lake, not sure I have ever caught a black crappie on a crank at Nader, have at Enid and Sardis. Would take a LONG white crappie to weigh 3 pounds in the summer time.

Good point. Those summer fish just don't weigh like they do in the spring. That's everywhere ya go too.

I have landed several at Butla that were 3, but they are scarce as hens teeth in the summer.
