I just ran my extension into the end of my wally world rubber net along with a liberal dose of f26, ran a couple of screws through for insurance and taped over the joint with black tape and ran some pool noodle over it. extends to about 15 feet and collapses to about 9-10.
i made a similar net using a paint extension pole. How I connected it is I took and old paint roller I had an cut the handle. i sanded it down to the size of the hole on the net frame. I used a small screw in the hole where the snap pin comes out of the frame to secure it on the original pole. This way I can use the same net with my original 4 foot handle just by removing the insert.
I guess I am cheap I just use an wooden handle stuck in my net handle. Tried them big long ones and they were very net heavy and hard to manipulate. Well the one I tried was anyways.
I paid $45.00 for my Ego net. Dunno maybe I got a deal.
90 at grizzly jig
I paid $39.99 for my Ego net at gander mountain last year.
YEP yall got good deals they run $80 or $90 buck!
The regular Ego net is $39.95 at Grizzly. The Ego Slider is the one that is. $80-$90.
Tried that ego net and it was ok except a 2+ lb crappie will flop out. I been using the same dip net for 20yrs, used to coat the net with plastic dip using a brush now it comes in a spray can just spray it down and let set for 8hrs good as new.
