I got 100 Daiichi red hooks for Xmas to put on some of my bandits. How the Heck do you get them on the split rings? Is there a tool I need. I have done four in about 45 minutes.

I use a set of split ring pliers I got from Basspro. They have two sizes. The ones I use are the small ones.I cut the old hooks off the lure with a pair of wire cutters.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

I like the small ones as well. I just start the existing hook in the split ring and put the new one right behind it. When the old comes off, the new is on.
