Thanks Gentlemen. I posted this on the Alabama, Georgia, & Louisiana forums all said the same thing EZT or Dub-L-Seat. I currently have a Cumberland which I don't get along with. I need to remove and reinstall it several times a year and it's a real pain, thats why I'm looking to change. Lookin forward to Spring it was 15 below this morning and 18" of snow on the ground.
Go ahead and buy the bases and start drilling. Just like Feelay and Rees said. I had my boat a long time before I bit the bullet and did it, I should've done it the first week I owned it.
Like they said, this is the only way to go, you won't regret it.Attachment 147160Attachment 147161
Oops let me change those.Attachment 147163Attachment 147164Attachment 147165
Tell him Grease!!!!!
Then if your by yourself you can move one seat to the back and fish out of the middle
For the life of me I don't understand cluttering up the deck, the plates are out of the way when not in use and don't have to be stored either, to each their own. Heck they out of the way when you are using them, the older I get the less I need to stumble over.
Heck I've got 4 bases up front. One for single poling cause i like being close to the nose, one for spiderriging by myself in the center and two for spiderrigging with two people up front.Heck have thought about adding two more on the lower deck for cranking but probably want but i might.
