    Default Teasers single poling

Anybody single pole with teasers using 1/8 or 1/4 oz split shot weights above them? If so, what seems to work best? Do you tip with minnow if using the weight?

some have done it but most tip a gnat with a minner.
now if you're single poling with a jig--you can go either way.
    just my opinion though

I've used them with a float that way. Still let's the minnow swim freely if ya move the weight up 6" or so. They will swim around and get ya tangled if the brush is really thick tho.

I had great luck on Sardis 7 years back with one tied above a 1/8 oz jig. Caught fish on both. But the best crappie came off the hook with hair tied on it. Buddy if mine told me I was crazy he would beat me. When I had 4 to his one, guess who was asking if I had anymore of those funny hooks I had tied up.
