I do use minnows most of the time. Some folks never use them and do just fine, I just find that most times when the bite gets tough I can still catch a few with minnows and can most always catch them as well as the folks who use plastics at other times. The 2 exceptions being pulling cranks in the hot summer, "those things apparently rule" and single poling the spawn.Quote:
