    Just finished a black powder hunt this AM in Memphis, MO.(NE MO four miles fm Iowa) -12 when we hit the timber. Passed on a potential shooter (135-140 range) but the big boy is still there. Saw him at day break but too much brush to shoot. Maybe he'll grace me with his presence on Friday. Merry Christmas to all...stay safe.

    I WENT THIS MORNING TOO . 24 I THINK AND SOME COLD WIND . DIDN'T SEE NOTHING . GOING BACK THIS AFTERNOON . MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL . MIGHT WAIT UP ON SANTA AND SEE IF I CAN GET A SHOT AT ONE OF HIS DEER . AND I TRIED TO TELL HIM GOING NORTH WAS CRAZY .
