    Default T-Lock/Cap Rail info?

    T-Lock/Cap Rail info?

Need to find about a foot of the stuff that fits the Cap Rail? Need to make a different hand controlled trolling motor bracket. I have one from War-eagle and it fits my Lund, but a 42" shalt motor will not get down below the side of the boat. So need to build one that turns and lays flat along the boat rail then turns up. I have some 3/8" Aluminum angle iron. Plan on having it welded to the stuff that mounts to the T-Lock/Cap Rail.
This is to set my boat up to side pull with.

Red, I'd try the WarEagle dealer up around Jackson or Counce to start with. Then call WarEagle. I have heard that stuff is high from the plant. Just don't have any idea where you could find anything like it. You also might check with Blackland lure and see if he could fab you up something. You might also call Jack at Jones trolling motor in Little Rock and find out what it would take to change shaft.

What I have is the same track that war-eagle has on there boats.

Cray may just get the shaft replaced with a 52" later. But thinking I found what I need today and will post it after testing it out and making sure its going to work.

I was wanting some of that T track material years ago. I called my boat manufacture company, the lady told me that it was all the same between different boat brands. I didn't like the price per foot, so I didn't buy it.

If you all are talking about the t-slot aluminum extrusion, it is all over e-bay in different sizes. Hope this helps you out.

    How is it listed?

I find a lot of the slot pieces but no T's for the slot.
    Like this example.

Do a search with 8020 t-nut. These are the nuts for the slot. Also do a search for 8020 gusset or 8020 bracket, these are the corner brackets and braces.
I like the Bosch stuff, search for Bosch extrusion, t-nut, t-bolt, gusset, bracket. All kinds of stuff. I Built all my rod holder brackets out of this stuff, bolts together with no welding.

Pete, are any of these products what you're looking for?
None of them match what I'm thinking about.

If you turn the material to look at the end it will look like a T. All of it is about 1/4" thick. The top is about 2" wide. The post of the T is about 5/16" tall.
The post part fits into the T-slot on the boat rail. A T-bolt holds it in place.
I can send you a picture on my cell phone.
