I'm heading out for Sardis in the morning for a few days. My fishing partner called in sick so I will be by myself. I'll be staying in the State Park's cabin. If you see a "big ole boy" in a Tracker pulled by a blue Toyota pickup, stop by and say hello.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

Good luck!!
Wind is supposed to be tough.
Out of the south at 13-15 mph
Some of the Sardis fellas should chime in about the wind and stuff.
He's been there for 2 days now, looking forward to a report on how he done!

ok John.
Sorry it took me so long to get this posted, but when I tried at the lake I couldn't get it to post from my IPhone. I caught my limit both Monday and Tuesday. I went back out this morning and fished until noon and caught 8. The lake was slick as glass all three days with no wind. I couldn't get a pattern on them. I caught fish in water from 10 ft to 30 ft. Some were on the main channel, some were on the secondary channels some on the flats. I didn't catch any along the dam. They were really scattered. I caught some on jigs tipped with minners and some on just minners. I know this isn't very helpful as far as where to catch them, that's the best I can tell you.
