Alot of my life is like a comedy. Some by choice, some by chance. The part that is chance is too good not to share after awhile anyways. Hey why get out of bed to have a bad time ?

This is a true story! A few years ago when I was in the air force I had a guy from up north that worked for me in Biloxi. He decided to take his 6yr old daughter fishing off a dock for her first fishing trip. She caught her first fish in her life which was a small hardhead catfish. Her father, wearing tennis shoes and shorts, decides to step on the fish so he can remove the hook. Naturally the dorsal fin goes through his shoe and into his foot. Yelling in pain, he kicks his foot back and the fish flips free and sticks into his butt. His wife yells at him to remove his shorts and he yells that he can't he wasn't wearing any underwear. Well they got the fish out and went to the emergency room and after explaining what happened to the nurse, she went out into the hall and then they heard all sorts of laughter in the hallway. On the way home from the emergency room, he said it was quiet in the car and his daughter pipes up and says..."Daddy, I had fun fishing!!!" The next day his wife brought in the pair of shorts he was wearing with the hole in the shorts circled with a magic marker....I put them up on the bulleting board.
Thanks dad for teaching me to love crappie fishing!!

That's hilarious, sounds like something my 7 year old son would say.

You guys are right about those hardhead cats on the coast. That's a special kind of hurt. While running charters in the marsh I have had clients swing a hardhead into my gut or behind while we were hammering a school of speckled trout. Three or four Guys slinging in trout every few Seconds for you to unhook then WAM!! It's tough to smile when all you want to do is cuss!!
