Might want to check out Lake Lee or Ferguson for crankbaits if you're heading in that direction. They are both closer and great crankbait lakes.
We are thinkin' about one of those for this weekend....

Hi ya'll I'm thinking about coming over an trying my hand at trolling crank baits on Lake Washington sometime in August. It will be my first time trolling crank baits and I don't know that much about the lake. So any advice about it and the lake would be greatly appricated. Buddy of mine has told me about the lake for lots of years so I got to fish it.

Washington is on the shallow side for cranking, not saying they cant be caught over there on cranks. Any oxbow at this point will be ate up with gar. If you do go, post a report. I have thought about going, but too many other good lakes producing fish to make a possible dry run

You may be better served to drive on over to Grenada or Enid to pull cranks for the first time since your going to already be in the truck anyway.
