    Default best cranking poles?

I know, I know. This topic has been beaten to death. However, I have decided to pull the trigger and buy myself a dedicated set of cranking poles. 2x16, 2x12, and 2x8. So.......Do I get PST's, or do I get Wally Marshall Troll-Tech, or maybe Ozarks.... What would YOU get if you were starting over?

Would NOT be PSTs, especially in an 8 foot. Wouldnt go with 16s either in your boat, too long for you ig o mine either for that matter. I have a 14 foot Ozark that I really like and the rest is a mixxed bag until I decide on what I want. Tips on the 12s and 8s in the PST suck.
Picjed up a 12 in a BGJP and it seems to be stouter than the PSTs. Also got a pair of 8s in it as well and they definately have a better tip than the PSTs. they load up more when pulling but have just as much backbone once you get a fish on.
If I were pulling six off the side in a rig shorter than 20 foot I would run Ozarks 2/14s, 2/10s, and 2 of the BnM 410s, thats a stout little rod.

I can't compare the PST's with the BGJP, but don't think you could go wrong with the ozarks. I have 8 of the 16's ozarks for pushing minners. But I can say that i have never had any problems with my PST's pulling cranks. Bought em new 3 years ago and still have the same tips.
