I have 8 and 12 ft pst and agree that the tips dont show the bait working very well . No problem pulling in fish but would like a little more active tip. I also have an 8 ft whooping stick and they too dont show the bait working very well. I am also looking.

Ya'll keep talking about seeing the bait working through the pole tip. What is it you are expecting to see it do?

If its twiching as the bait wobbles you know it aint fouled. The way I run mine down on the water I can tell by where the line enters the water so it not a big deal to me. Lot of trash starting to turn loose down here.

I was being facetious. You can see a fouled bait pulling with a 2x4. Goober.

Any comments on the Lew's Troll-Tech 10' med-heavy for pushin' cranks? Just purchased one to test it from the kayak. Comments welcome.

works for me
Shimano TDR and Daiwa Wilderness 8-9', in ML or M work great for me. However, I use planer boards and a mast, except for inside and straight back lines. I have a few Cabelas Depthmasters too. The old ones work well, new ones are a tad too stiff.

I use the old Wally Marshall Tightline Specials for crankin' ..... they are stiff and hard to beat..... I use the 18', 16', and 12 footers for pullin off the back.
