Great day on the water

Had another great day on the water with Rees guide. I met him at 5:30 in Coffeeville, and off we went. His new boat is great, it is one of the best fishing platforms I have ever fish in. He has done a good job of rigging it to do what it was made to do. Anyway, it was a little windy at first, but settled down as the day went on. We started picking up some nice fish right away. John knows this lake!!! The color of choose, according the John, was cranberry or sardis gold. "That what works on this lake"!!!! Well he had a point we caught a few with those color, but I ask if pink might work here, and was told not here, "I never catch anything on pink"!!! As the day progressed I put on an awesome pink, and the fight was on. Then I added a Hot totty, and lit up the water. Making a long story short, before the day ended John was fishing pink. Just goes to prove that any given color of any given day will work. All joking aside, I had a great time fishing with John yesterday, he is a great guy. Thank you again John, looking forward to the CM Championship with you. We ended up with these 25 nice keepers.

Man that pink was the thing as the day brightened up for sure. Enjoyed the day Chuck, you hauled in some PIGS for sure!!!!
