Arkabutla guides?

The second week in August I'll be visiting family what lives a couple miles from the Arkabutla spillway. I'd like to get on the lake a try for some big slabs. If it's anything like IL, fishing can be very hot and slow this time of year but I've gotta try...

I can pull my boat down and give it a whirl but would prefer to hire someone that knows their way around. Please let me know if you can recommend anyone.

I was just reading through the reports from the last few months on here. Looks like its tough.... Was there a fish kill or something? Heck, I don't care if I'm catching crappie, bass, stripers, walleye, etc... Just gotta fish! Lol

Don't care if I'm on public waters or farm pond either. Just gotta disappear for several hours and enjoy the water.
